Sunshine does a body good

We had the huge blessing of going to Huatulco Mexico last week and had such a blast with my family. It is always a blessing to spend time just hanging out and enjoying eachothers company. We finally got to see my sister with a baby bump! And Allie got to experience the ocean and beach for the first time since she was 3 months old. She loved the sand but wasn't too sure about the cold ocean. Although the pool ended up turning her into quite a fish by the end of the week she was jumping in off the sides of the pool and going under water. So fun to watch her just soak everything in. Again my computer still hasn't been fixed so I am unable to put pictures on here :( But I will as soon as I can cause we got some great shots.

We are back in wichita and trying to settle back into life for just a week. Then I head out to chicago for my sisters baby shower. And then off to New York City and D.C with my three highschool/college bible study girls. Allie is going to be quite the traveler. Thankfully she travels well or life would be a little harder.

Rob is actually going into sholder surgery on monday the 9th. He did something to his sholder two years ago on a deployment and has found out that nothing will fix it but surgery so he will be on a non flying status for 6 months :( But it is a perfect time for him to get it since we don't have too much happening the next 6 months. But please keep him in your prayers that his recovery doesn't really take 6 months and that everything goes smoothly. Unfortunately I will not be here to take care of him :(

Life here is busy as always. Rob and I just keep asking when will things slow down... and I am afraid to really answer that question knowing it won't be for quite awhile! The sun has finally decided to come out and what a difference it makes! It was 83 and beautiful today and people came out of there houses by the swarms. It was so great to sit on the front lawn talking with all our neighbors I love living on base! So great to see the kids at the playground and kids riding there bikes its like it used to be when we were kids.

Hopefully I will get pics up soon.
We are doing our annual Cystic Fibrosis walk in may so I will be posting a link to my page soon if you are interested in being involved.
