Back from Californ-i-a

Well Allie and I arrived back safely monday night after many hours of flying. We had a great trip enjoying friends and playing with babies :) Allie and Evan (my friend Abby's baby) were hilarious together. They are only two weeks apart and are too cute. Although Allie was a little brute.. stealing Evan's toys and pushing him down.. hopefully she changes her ways! It is so fun to see them together causing trouble. It definitely makes me wish we lived closer! Much laughter was had and we definitely look forward to the next get together! Allie did great in the plane.. Although she is squirmy she loved to smile and laugh at everyone in the rows. We read lots of books and played much paddy cake. All in all a great weekend. Nothing like spending a weekend with close friends! Now Rob and I look forward to a month of nothin. Just spending time together! finally! We are excited for our four day weekend. We are hoping to go to the lake and to the Zoo. Allie is loving animals right now and can't seem to get enough :) So hopefully we will walk around the Zoo on sunday. Allie getting into everything right now and climbing everything! It is so fun to watch her explore. I swear she is going to walk before rob deploys. She stood all by herself, not holding onto anything, for about 10 seconds and was very excited.. So maybe walking is in the next month or two? Such fun times!

my five teeth

So I may have some funky teeth... atleast I have a great smile! :) If you click on a photo it gets bigger
Love to read with my bubba.... ok or just pull things off the book
Just chillin. reading some and relaxing some..........
I am a crazy little lady!
Me and Mom
Where is that Toy?? Oh here is it... oh and some drool.
Now which one of these goes to the car?

So I am obsessed with carrying things in my mouth
Yup.... still carrying things in the mouth. While reading a magazine :)
okay so after telling many people about allies crazy upper teeth people have wanted a pic and you can't imagine how hard it is to get a picture of a eight month olds teeth! but here it is! and I couldn't help but throw in a couple more..

Summer Fun!

So theres nothing like reading books nakey! Allies favorite time is when I let her roam FREE :) Gotta do it while she can! Nothin like a cute little rear. So I just took some photos on some of our days this week and all the fun allie and I are having. Allie is loving her little walker cause she can move about as she pleases and it is nice for mom cause she can't get into anything while she's in it! We found some baby swings at the park nearby and so now we make it a daily walk. She loves so swing! It makes her laugh and she loves to watch the other kiddos play. Well I am enjoying finding new baby foods to make. We have done carrots, squash, peas, sweet potatoes and we are doing chicken tonight. Allie loves her little teething cookies and does well trying new things.. hopefully she stays that way no picky eaters here!!! Well Rob comes home tomorrow.. hopefully. And we will get to enjoy a day or two together before allie and I head out to california for Yvonnes Wedding reception! We get to play for three whole days with my friends and with Allies buddy Evan. Evan and Allie are only two weeks apart so its going to be a blast watching them play together! So i'll have some great photos this time next week!

Been awhile much has happened :)

Okay so I appologize it has been awhile since I last posted we have recently gotten a new laptop and I am still figuring out the photo thing on here. So Allies biggest events since last post is that she is now able to pull herself up to a stand all by herself, three more teeth have come in making 5 in all, and she is a mad crawler (army crawler that is, I guess she is showing the military side of her :) ). So as you can see its been a bit crazy around here without Rob around. Rob headed down to instructor pilot training mid july and we have missed him like crazy. He is scheduled to come home next wednesday but we know not to hold our breath :) Though we are very proud of him! He comes home for about 8 weeks and then heads out an another deployment end of october missing the holidays and allies first birthday :( I guess this is just one of many unfortunately. So we are not looking forward to it. I feel since having allie it makes these trips much harder. I hate that he misses all these fun things happening and he hates it too!

So as I said Allie is now a standing machine and it was all fun and games until she did it in her crib so now when she wakes up she stands in her crib and screams at the door.... fun times. But she is now into everything and can army crawl faster than I can imagine... So no more looking away from her! It is such a fun stage though.. all the exploring is too fun. These poor teeth coming in have hurt her like the dickens. She is strangely getting two teeth on top but not her front teeth but the pointy ones on the side. Kinda strange. But I guess those ones hurt the most :( I am praying that her front teeth are just late and not a precurser to her palate (roof of her mouth) to be messed up since she has a bifid uvula. Can't worry now I guess. :)

Well I pray you are all doing well! Things here are going great just missing our hubby and dad and anxiously wait his arrival in a week! Don't have many photos but here are a couple.. of course some great ones of allie and grandma at their house and then some visits to cocoon :) Trying to convince my mom to use them in an ad.. maybe saying "Cocoon fun for all ages" :)

Have a blessed week!
