Lots has happened! no we didn't get a puppy :)

Well its been awhile and a lot has happened in our families life since the last blog . Well where do I quickly begin... Allie and I headed back to chicago to meet my side of the family and it was a blast. Allie got to see Grandmas Store (cocoon) and meet all the cocoon ladies. Allie did great on the flight, no problems. Allie then got to meet Gram the Great and Great Grandpa Dunc. (which we took a picture of the four generations) On wednesday we met Uncle Nate for lunch and had a girls day with Aunt Dawn. We then had a sleepover with my best friend Sara. On thursday the family started pouring in. Great Aunt Jen and cousins Wes, Kinsey, and Logan all came down from Marquette Michigan. On friday morning while we were all sitting in the living room Rob walked through the back door. He suprised my family by flying in for the Cystic Fibrosis walk... what a suprise! it was so great to have the whole family together for this great event. On saturday the Lord truly blessed us with a BEAUTIFUL day... we couldn't have asked for anything better. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze to rid of the May Flies. We are unsure of the number of people that showed up but we all guessed around 300 people. In the end we raised over $55,000! Truly amazing! My sister talked about her struggle with CF and then a man named steve who is 48 years old and was diagnosed with CF at the age of 13 talked and gave us a little more understanding of his journey with CF. What a great event and an amazing turn out. Everything went great and can't wait for next year!

So we headed back to wichita on monday and now are trying to get back on schedule :) But this past week Allie hit some milestones. She is now able to sit up on her own and she cut her first tooth yesterday! So exciting because she didn't have any of the symptoms of cutting teeth... which is a joy! She hasn't been sleeping as great but she hasn't been fussy or drooling or anything so she's been a trooper. Well No we did not get another bulldog but our good friend did and we couldn't help but take pictures of Allie with this cute pup!! Sorry for the novel!! Hope you enjoy the pics!

I woke up and still need my feet!

Allie fell asleep today holding her foot and she didn't let go her whole nap I thought it was hilarious so I took some pictures. She is so obsessed with her feet even in her sleep! Still pushing through a cold can't wait for it to pass. The poor girl wakes up choking cause her nose is so runny :( no fun.

Fun in the SUN

What a beautiful weekend we had here in good ol wichita! It was 85 and BEAUTIFUL. Rob was home for a day and a half and it was so fun just hanging out, walking the dogs, and playing with Allie. Rob was so happy just to spend time with Allie as she smiled, cooed and laughed all weekend. Since I am with her each day I don't realize how big she gets but we showed up to our adult Bible Study on Sunday night and everyone was shocked at how big allie had gotten in two weeks. She is becoming a toddler right before my eyes! AHH! We are VERY excited to fly out to Chicago for the walk in one week from TODAY! woohoo! Bummed that Rob isn't able to join us but excited to see family and friends. Allie is addicted to hearing herself ... no matter what the sound. So now she just has a high pitched noise that makes her laugh so she does it all day. Its so funny. love to all.
