On The Road Again....

Well here we are packing our bags for yet another road trip... We just got back from a Beckenhauer Family reunion up in Nebraska.. We took some great photos but I am waiting for them to be emailed or sent and I will post them. We had a great time seeing family and for Allie and I... meeting family. Nothing like spending great time with family :) So fun that everyone got to meet Allie. Thankfully Allie did well and there are no complaints :) I am so thankful that she enjoys her carseat since we have spent MANY hours in it!

We are now headed for a 10 day trip... yes Rob got 10 days of leave! woo hoo! So we are headed up to my parents lake house to spend time with family and then Rob and I are taking a couple days to ourselves.. yeah! And we will end the trip with my Grandpas memorial. Nevertheless we are excited to get away together for a little bit. For those of you who don't know Rob is scheduled to go down to Altus Oklahoma (our previous base) do to Instructor Pilot upgrade.. yup he is becoming an instructor pilot... yeah rob! he will be down there for about 6 weeks. He then is scheduled to deploy mid october.. so we are trying to soak up as many days as we can right now since he will be gone so much come the end of the month.

Well Allie is doing great. Her two teeth are fully in and I am unsure of any more deciding to pop out. I have started her on solids and she is getting used to them thats for sure! she seems to enjoy sweet potatoes the best. Its amazing how easy baby food is to make and how cheap it is! Rob has been a little "stressed" out as I call it when it comes to feeding time since he is a little OCD when it comes to messy hands and faces! As I have already told him... get used to it.. this is just the beginning :) After one feeding has decided that she can do it all by herself.. Why so independent!! Crazy Lady! Allie has decided that as of now scooting is her way of travel. She uses only her arms and its quite funny. She is adding new syllables weekly.. and its fun when a new one pops out cause it seems to surprise her. Well I wont write a novel.. but I just wanted to update on life in wichita. God is good... and continues to bless us way more than we deserve and we are truly thankful.
