Well Allie has officially finished her first cold and fever... what a week! This horrible cold just tore through the Beckenhauer house, all three of us seemed to be sneezing and coughing all week. Needless to say Easter was pretty uneventfull. We did pull ourselves out of bed to go to church and a quick bite to eat but back to the couch we went. I have learned its not easy getting better when you have to wake up every three hours to feed a sick little lady. Allie has been on an amazing schedule of sleeping 8 to 10 hours at a time at night so when she was sick and switched to 3 hours at a time night it does not make it easy to get much better :) But thankfully we are all feeling MUCH better! Allie is getting closer and closer to rolling over and a swear she is getting the nerve to crawl, but we'll see. She has learned that she can do something similar to a back bend and so really thats all she does if she's laying on her back, its pretty funny. Thanks to Nancy Miller for the cute blanket allie is on!
Right now I am trying to figure out how to get her to stop spitting up so much.. Any advice from other moms? She constantly spits up throughout the day and after she nurses I swear she spits up half of what she ate? It doesn't seem to be getting any better, I have tried changing my diet but nothing seems to help?? And she doesn't eat a ton so I know its not from over eating? It doesn't seem to bother her it just drenches her clothes and everything around her :)

I remember Owen spitting up like a mad man too. I finally asked my favorite Dr. Miller - he said some babies are just spitters and it always looks like way more than it is. I tto was worried he was spitting up half of what he ate but I guess not... Anyway...not sure if it is related but he drooled until - well, he STILL drools. For him it was not a teeth thing and he was wearing a bib until I was finally embarrassed and just decided to let him drool all over his shirts. So maybe they will be spitty drooly friends for life?? Love this blog, by the way...
